Congratulations to Queen Chloe Lochner and King Fischer Przybilla and to the entire homecoming court! We are excited for a week full of homecoming activities!

We are almost ready for HoCo Coronation 2025!

Students learning to use a laser to level a base for a concrete pour at the elementary school.

Pioneer 6th graders traveled to Camp Ripley this week for the annual Water Festival, learning about usage, resources, and conservation practices.

Mr. Kurt Litke, former Pioneer Teacher, invited the 5th grade students to learn about forest management this week. Mr. Litke talked to the students about logging practices that took place in this area when it was first settled. After learning how loggers used to accomplish the job, students got to see current equipment of the trade in action thanks to Kevin and Craig Holtz. It was a memorable experience and offered real life experience to many topics in social studies, science, and Metier classes. What a cool experience! Students are hard at work in the concrete class preparing for a new sidewalk to be poured. This morning they are using the laser and packer to prepare a suitable base.

It was a hot but beautiful day for the Rey Zimney Invitational Cross Country meet yesterday afternoon. The Pierz Park and golf course brought 100s of runners and spectators from all over Minnesota. And Pioneer Pete helped cheer our Pierz Boys to a 6th place finish and the Girls to a 3rd place finish over all. Way to go teams! We're excited to share that thanks to our wonderful Pioneer PTO, we now have a book vending machine! This fun machine allows our Pioneer Pride winners to pick out their very own book, giving their brains a tasty treat!

Students in Ms. Becker's first grade class have been learning all about bus safety this week, and they had some great tips to share:
🚌 Always wait for the bus to come to a complete stop
🚌 No running or jumping
🚌 Listen to your driver
🚌 Stay seated while the bus is moving
🚌 Be a role model for others
We’re so grateful for our amazing bus drivers — thank you for keeping us safe every day! 💛
