Help our youngest learners start strong! Join our team at Pierz Schools as an Early Learning or Math Tutor, and you can help students discover the joy of learning.
Early Learning Tutors serve during the school day and spend their time helping students aged 3-5 talk, read, write, sing, and play. With training and support from an onsite coach, you’ll use activities proven to help kids build early reading and math skills.
Math Tutors serve during the school day and meet with small groups of students in grades K-3 to help strengthen their skills and confidence. With training and support from an onsite coach, you’ll be use proven activities that help students improve in math. No matter your math ability, you can make a great tutor.
This is a paid AmeriCorps member position with Early Learning/Math Corps. No teaching experience is required! All you need is a desire to help kids succeed. By giving your time as a tutor, you can make an incredible impact and help more kids make a strong start in school.
