On Wednesday, April 22, the Pierz Minnesota Honor Society proudly welcomed 25 new members during its annual induction ceremony. Students selected for membership demonstrated excellence in the four pillars of Honor Society: character, service, leadership, and scholarship. To qualify for induction, applicants must have a 3.5 GPA and complete essays, letters of recommendation, and an activities and volunteer resume. Once a member of the Pierz Honor Society, students are required to complete 25 volunteer service hours each year while supporting many important community and school projects, including the Toy Drive, Oktoberfest, Food Drive, Adopt-A-Highway, American Red Cross Blood Drive, and other service initiatives throughout the year. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of these students and their commitment to making a positive difference in the school and community.
