Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade were visited by Heartland Readers Theater as part of I Love to Read Month. The group was started by retired media specialist JoAnn Dahl and includes many retired staff members. They encouraged listeners to use the power of imagination to visualize the stories of Tacky the Penguin, Frog and Toad, Strega Nona, and many others.
