It's FFA Barnyard Day! Come one, come all and take a midday break with a furry friend and learn all about ATV and Tractor Safety from our FFA students! Wednesday, May 13, from 9-2pm.

So far, our teachers have been treated to popcorn from Farmers & Merchants State Bank; coffee, donuts, cookies, bagels, a full sub sandwich bar and so much more from our paras and staff; and more treats and fun to come all week long!
We at Pierz Schools are so fortunate to have hard-working, dedicated teachers working for our students and families. Thank you to all of our teachers!

Their presence offers comfort, care, and reassurance to students in times of illness or need. By promoting wellness, school nurses ensure that students can focus on learning without health concerns. Their commitment and empathy have a positive impact on the school community as a whole. Let's pause and celebrate the invaluable contributions of our dedicated nurses at Pierz Schools!
Thank you to Robin Skwira, Jamie Johnson, and Heather Jurek

Join us as our 7th and 8th grade band and choir students present their spring concert, "Sound Waves", May 14, starting at 6:30pm in the PAC gym.

The Pierz Healy High School annual Tractor Parade will be Wednesday, May 6. The parade starts at 2:315pm in front of Pioneer Elementary The parade will travel south on Kamnic Street; west on 1st Ave past the Villa; north on Edward Street, ending at the church parking lot. Come out and show appreciation for our student farmers!

Pioneer Student Council has been collecting pop tabs from students all year—and the results are incredible! They donated a total of 420 pounds, which is equivalent to about $3,000.
Thank you to Greg Tomberlin for stopping by to pick up the pop tabs. This generous donation will help support field trips for local veterans. We’re so proud of our students for making a meaningful impact in our community!

Building a safer community starts with a single conversation.
A huge thank you to Officer Hanneken for visiting our 2nd graders Friday! Beyond the safety tips and badge-admiring, these visits are all about community partnership. When our schools and law enforcement work together, our students feel supported, seen, and safe.
Thanks for being such a great role model for our students, Officer Hanneken!

The highlight of the week? Storm Jars! This experiment allowed our little scientists to:
Predict outcomes
Observe the saturation point of a "cloud"
Count the drops needed to create a storm
We are so proud of their curiosity and hard work!
